Welcome Teachers.
What is the Freedom to Create?
“There’s a finite amount you need to know in order to do an infinite amount of things.” ~Derry
This is the Freedom to Create approach. We focus on the foundation so you can do just about anything.
🌀 Your Digital Life Is Blended. So Your Learning Should Be Too.
For most of us, there’s no clean line between work technology and personal technology. The same laptop handles lesson plans and family photos. The same inbox holds student emails and online orders. It all blends together - a soupy mix of tools, accounts, and responsibilities.

And it’s not just about what’s mixed together. It’s how the little things pile up. A file you can’t find. A task that takes ten steps when it should take two. A program that feels clunky, but you’re not sure how to make it better. The feeling of unease each time you need to do something with your computer. These small gaps become stopping points, slowing you down or keeping you from finishing altogether.
🧩 The Technology Puzzle
This is all part of what makes up your Technology Puzzle: A picture of what you know, and what you don’t.
The blank spaces aren’t just “missing pieces.” They’re gaps in knowledge, skills, and habits that make everyday technology harder than it needs to be. Freedom to Create helps you fill those gaps with monthly projects that are clear, achievable, and directly useful.
✨ What You’ll Get Each Month
One (or two) projects a month - focused and manageable, so you can keep moving forward.
Weekly steps - bite-sized actions that fit into your schedule.
Personal + professional crossover - skills transfer seamlessly. The same knowledge that helps you organize family life will also simplify your classroom projects.
Confidence that lasts - each project fills in knowledge gaps, bringing your puzzle closer to complete and making your computer feel reliable, safe, and enjoyable.
👥 You're Not Alone
Inside Freedom to Create, you’ll join a 24/7 community where teachers are learning side by side.

Ask questions. Share wins. Learn at your own pace.

There’s no deadline. You decide when and how to engage.
This isn’t extra work. It’s a chance to take control of your computer - piece by piece, project by project - with a supportive community beside you the whole way.
🧱 Six Months to a Solid(ish) Foundation with a bonus 7th month!
Learning technology is endless and fun. (Fun isn’t everyone’s opinion, but I’m hoping to get you there!)
There’s always something new to learn, one more app to figure out, another update to question. That’s why we can’t aim for “perfect.” We aim for solid(ish).
Solid(ish) means you’ve built a real foundation:

Enough skills, habits, and confidence to handle the things that stop most people in their tracks. You won’t know everything (no one does), but you’ll know more than enough to take a project from start to finish,
~ without getting stuck,
~ without giving up halfway,
~ and without technology standing in the way.
Here’s a biggie: You aren’t left to figure it out alone. Inside the membership, you’ll always have answers to your questions, whether from me, from walkthroughs, or from the 24/7 community of people learning right alongside you.

These are whole solutions! By the end of these first seven months, your Technology Puzzle won’t be 100% complete (no one’s ever is), but it will be solid(ish).

And solid(ish) is the strong foundation you need to go from idea to finished project time and time again, whether for your classroom, your personal life, or something you’ve been dreaming about for years.

But wait! There's more!

There’s a lot more. Freedom to Create continues with deeper whole-solution projects in:
-
emergency planning - taking something big off your plate.
-
controlling all the digital noise - yes, you can.
-
smart homes - "You in danger girl."
-
list of creative projects and how-to's you didn't think you could, but CAN
-
and way beyond - We have so much to offer to help you change your life.

Keep filling in your puzzle, piece by piece, for as long as you choose.

Ultimately, my goal is to help you bring your ideas to life. With Freedom to Create, you’ll get projects, support, answers, and a community that makes it possible.
